Vent introduces a new column with updates on key figures within
commercial vehicle, oil, chemical, technology and AdBlue companies
who will be involved in strategy relating to Euro 4 and 5 emissions
legislation.
Dureal has announced several new appointments to its AdBlue sales
and marketing team. Jeroen van den Brink joins as Sales &
Marketing Director, Europe. He previously worked in Shell Europe's
CRT division for 15 years. Carlos de Vincentes becomes Dureal's new
Business Manager, South Europe. He has 20 years experience in the
oil industry, working with companies such as Cepsa and Mobil Oil.
Ralf Puettbach will become the new Sales Area Manager for West
Germany. Ralf worked with Shell and Shell Trader for 12 years.
Marcus Wilfert joins as the new Sales Area Manager for East Germany
having been Managing Director at AGK Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, a
company involved in fuel cards and CRT- related business. Finally,
Angela Colenbrander becomes Marketing Implementer, Europe, having
recently graduated with an MBA in Marketing.
GreenChem has appointed Tony Dean as Sales Manager for the UK. Tony
has experience in the AdBlue industry and will work alongside Chris
Haynes, GreenChem's Managing Director, UK.
Total, which works with its fuel supply subsidiary AS24 to
distribute and sell AdBlue, has appointed Bernard Bainat to its
business development team as AdBlue Project Manager.
Clean Diesel Technologies has announced several changes to its
management team. James M Valentine has been released from his post
as President and Chief Operating Officer. Former Vice President and
Chief Technology Officer, Walter Copan, has been appointed
Executive Vice President, North American Operations. Chief
Financial Officer, David Whitwell, assumes the joint role of CFO
and Senior Vice President, Administration. Tim Rogers will become
Executive Vice President, International Operations, having
previously been Vice President, International. All three men will
continue to report to CEO, Dr Bernhard Steiner, who has been given
the additional role of President.
Shell has created a core AdBlue team of five women. Ina von Turow
is the Shell Commercial Road Transport Fuels Product Manager and
the owner and coordinator of the AdBlue rollout across the three
channels in which Shell AdBlue is being launched (homebase, OTR,
packs). Christiane Schöner-Kenyeres is the European Technology
Adviser for the Commercial Fuels Business, responsible for all
technical and HSSE (health, safety, security, environment) matters
regarding AdBlue. She also coordinates the eight AdBlue pilots on
Shell Retail and CRT sites in five European countries. Carmen
Giegerich is the Brand and Communications Manager for the euroShell
Card in the Commercial Road Transport segment. AdBlue is a new
addition to the euroShell portfolio. Carmen organises product
demonstrations and discussions with experts for customers. Nicole
Everett is the Contracting & Procurement Manager for B2B and
has assisted the AdBlue project team during the tendering exercise
in 2005 which has identified a final recommended AdBlue supply
partner. Neda Alkalay is the Sales Team Leader for Commercial Road
Transport in Bulgaria and part of the AdBlue team, responsible for
identifying benchmarks for success, coordinating data from Shell
divisions and establishing
data-gathering methodology.
Shell will be supplying the homebase AdBlue channel indirectly
through a preferred partner to be announced in the next few days.
The company currently stocks nearly 200 sites in seven countries
with five-litre packs of AdBlue. On the road, AdBlue pumps are
currently being piloted in key locations. The Shell pump sites now
open are Padborg in Denmark, and Woergl and Suben in Austria.
Additional pilots are due to open in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg
and the Netherlands in the near future.
