Investment in the AdBlue pump network in Europe is increasing in
pace, with valuable contributions coming from the oil industry. OMV, Q8,
Shell and
Total now have AdBlue pump installations at 223 sites across
Europe, representing a significant proportion of AdBlue pumps in
Europe.
There are currently 977 AdBlue pumps listed on FindAdBlue.com (as of June 2007),
of which 280 are installed at service stations belonging to oil
companies. Thanks, in part, to the increased investment in AdBlue
from oil companies, Vent expects AdBlue pumps in Europe to number
over 1000 by the end of July 2007. However, the Iberian and Italian
peninsulas along with Eastern Europe have seen little investment
from oil majors.
