Mazda launches CX-7 in Europe with urea SCR system

Mazda has become the first Japanese automaker to develop a passenger vehicle equipped with urea selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system. The CX-7 sports utility vehicle will be installed with the NOx after-treatment technology in combination with Mazda's newly developed 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine. It is expected that the new model will be on the road in late 2009.
