The US Department of Energy (DoE) has announced that it will invest US$13 million in funding R&D projects aimed at reducing engine emissions including NOx. The funds will be channeled through the Advanced Vehicles Program and will finance six projects, including one at Michigan Technological University researching on-board diagnostic systems and advanced control systems for SCR.
