New Zealand-based fertilizer producer and distributor Ballance Agri-Nutrients has launched the country's first domestically produced 32.5% urea solution for use in vehicles with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. The urea-based solution, branded GoClear, will be manufactured at an ammonia-urea plant in Kapuni and complies with ISO 22241 standard.
All new and used trucks imported into New Zealand since 1 January 2009 have had to comply with Euro IV equivalent emissions standards, and from January 2011 the regulations will be upgraded to Euro V equivalent.
