JiangSu KLS Environment Protection Technology (KLS) has passed the Verband der Automobilindustrie's (VDA) on-site audit with a score of 93.3 points.
KLS manufactured 3,000 tonnes of AdBlue in 2009 from a network of four regional production bases and has built a national sales network in China with Jiangsu LOPAL Petrochemical.
The VDA controls the AdBlue trademark and all new licensees are required to undergo an on-site audit to use the AdBlue brand name. KLS was registered as a licensee prior to the audit.
