Sales volumes of AdBlue in Europe will more than double over the next four years to 2.5 million tonnes per year according Yara's European Director for Air1.
Speaking at Integer's Diesel Emissions Conference Bert van Tilt said the company expected a "significant" increase in sales over the next four years as the percentage of trucks equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) increases and more stringent off-road emissions legislation comes into force.
"We need to invest in production. We need to add start engaging with governments to make sure we can deliver with the same dependency as diesel," he added during a panel session.
