UK-based Banner Chemicals, which manufactures and distributes BlueCat-branded AdBlue, has announced a price increases of £0.03 per litre across all AdBlue supply formats.
Eddie Allen, Business Manager of Banner Chemicals, said: "During the last six months there has been an unprecedented rise in the cost of Urea, the main raw material used to manufacture AdBlue, and as the market enters its traditional high priced Winter and Spring period we cannot continue to absorb such high cost increases."
The increase took effect on the 1 October 2011.
