Emissions analyst Integer Research has opened a new office in Beijing, China, to build its relationships with the country's automotive market and to share developments with the global diesel emissions industry.
Monica Zhang, Integer's China Market Manager, who will run the new
office, said: "China continues to be an key market for the industry
as it continues to grow as one of the world's biggest consumers and
manufacturers of commercial vehicles. This in turn has had a
substantial effect on air quality in China, which has moved
emissions legislation high up on the government's political
agenda."
At the recent Diesel
Emissions Conference & AdBlue Forum Asia 2011, Juliane
Läng, Emissions Control Analyst at Integer, announced that AdBlue
consumption in China could reach up to one billion gallons by 2017.
