SCR technology of choice for Brazil's Proconve P7

Integer Research's Diesel Emissions Conference & ARLA 32 Forum Brazil 2011, heard manufacturers such as Volvo and Cummins declare that they will use Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to meet Proconve P7.

The country's two urea producers Vale and Petrobras both presented at the conference on their involvement in the country's ARLA 32 (AdBlue) production and supply chain. Both stated that they will be ready to meet ARLA 32 demand starting January 2012 and that they are expecting high volume demand from the beginning of 2012.

The implementation date for Proconve P7 for heavy-duty diesel vehicles in Brazil (equivalent to Euro V) is January 2012.
