Newly released SCR tractors in the Fendt 700 Vario Series have been designed to comply with the European non-road Stage 3b / Tier 4 interim emissions standards which will come into effect in phases up to 2014.
SCR technology has also been employed in Fendt's 800 and 900 series non-road equipment. The 700 series models are more powerful than before, ranging from 200 to 250hp and, along with the 800 and 900 series, require the use of AdBlue. All tractors in the Vario series come equipped with 6.06L engines with 6 cylinders, provided by Deutz.
The new 3rd generation 700 series was displayed last week at the Cereals Arable Industry event held in Lincolnshire, UK, and has been unveiled in the UK in line with the German launch of the same series.
