AdBlue manufacturer Borealis has released a statement saying its logo and name have been used illegally on counterfeit AdBlue products in Russia.
The statement said: "Such counterfeits are of poor quality and can cause serious damage when used in vehicles. When buying AdBlue products in Russia please note that Borealis' genuine AdBlue products are currently only sold via our sole authorised distributor, OOO Brenntag."
Borealis has asked concerned customers in Russia to contact office@brenntag.com.ru.
Borealis' trademarks are registered in Russia.
