Italian fuel and lubrication equipment manufacturer Piusi has launched a new AdBlue dispensing unit incorporating pump, digital flow meter, hose and nozzle.

The dispensing unit, called the Suzzara Blue, was developed following extensive research into the properties of AdBlue, Piusi says.

Joe Ferrara, UK Sales Manager for Centre Tank Services Ltd, who are exclusive distributors for the Piusi range, said "Adblue presented us with some interesting pumping challenges particularly because of its relatively high freezing temperature and corrosive properties. However, the Suzzara Blue has been specifically designed to pump AdBlue and isn't a hybrid chemical pump as may be the case with other manufacturers."

Consequently the Suzzara Blue utilises stainless steel internals and a specially designed delivery nozzle. It can be supplied as an IBC emptying unit or on a specially designed back plate to fit to a wall or tank.
