Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy S.A (ZAP), the largest Polish fertilizer producer in terms of revenues, announced plans in August 2008 to increase AdBlue capacity from 30,000 tpy to 100,000 tpy. ZAP began producing AdBlue in February 2007 and has signed supply contracts with two domestic companies, fuel supplier Lotos Paliwa and distributor Blue Solution. In February this year, Hubert Kamola, Head of the Chemistry Division commented that "the growth rate of AdBlue sales is higher than the growth rate of demand for the product, which means that we are winning the market".
