Massey Ferguson launches the first SCR tractor Massey Ferguson launched its new MF8690 tractor at the 2008 Innov-agri show in France. It is the first agricultural tractor to employ selective catalytic reduction (SCR) which injects AdBlue into the exhaust system, cutting emissions and improving fuel efficiency. Declan Hayden, Vice-President of sales and marketing, suggested that SCR will be important for the future of Massey Ferguson's tractors: "We believe that virtually every engine will need SCR technology to meet the Stage 4 emission standards from 2014."
