Terra Environmental Technologies Inc. (TET) has announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Brenntag North America to distribute TET's diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) TerraCair in the US and Canada. This is an important move towards constructing an integrate DEF network in the US in time for legislation set to take effect in 2010 that requires diesel trucks to conform to more strict emissions targets. Terra CEO Michael Bennett stated, "We're pleased to have accomplished with Brenntag this important first step in establishing the North American DEF infrastructure." Brenntag North America, headquartered in Pennsylvania, is part of the Brenntag Group.
