Yara's plan to increase AdBlue sales has begun with the opening of a new bulk import and storage facility in Dagenham in the South of England. The site at the TDGs Choats Road terminal holds a 2.5 million litre storage facility and allows Yara's increasing supply of Air1 to be directly shipped from the Sluiskil production plant in the Netherlands for delivery to customers in the UK. Yara's distributor Brenntag has accommodated the increase in AdBlue by establishing an IBC packing operation for Air1 in Greenwich, not far from the new storage facility. Two additional tankers to increase bulk delivery capacity have also been added to the operation. David O'Connell, Managing Director of Brenntag UK explained how the second terminal in Dagenham "will significantly increase the efficiency of our supply chain, allowing us to improve our customer service and reducing our environmental impact".
