On the 1 June 2009 Yara International opened a new AdBlue import terminal in Bilbao. The 5000m3 storage facility will take delivery of AdBlue from Yara's largest European production site at Sluiskill. It is anticipated that this new facility will reduce the cost and times of deliveries, especially to the north of Spain, and will help guarantee a secure Iberian distribution chain. The Bilbao terminal will be Yara's 5th in Europe alongside Mengstad in Norway, Hamm in Germany, as well as Immingham and Dagenham in the UK.
